On Friday, November 17th a pep rally was held for the football team making it to state. The first game was guess the legs. Each senior boy had to take off their shoes and show their legs, they hid behind the tarp and the coaches had to guess which legs belonged to whom. The coaches had photos of each face and that they had to stick them on the tarp to guess each player. Two dads stood in for their sons to add some humor and challenge.
The second game was the Jackie Legs Race named for Mr. Armes. Each player had to catch a foam football in their shirt and jump to halfcourt like a kangaroo.
The third game was the NFL Celebration. Each team had to come up with a celebration they would do if they played for the NFL. The student section then got to cheer for who had the best celebration. Shawnie said, “The NFL Celebrations game was my favorite, because it was funny and made me laugh.” The best celebration was the bowling ball with pins.
The pep rally was a big success getting the student body excited for the big game on Monday. The Bobcats ended their season with a 2nd place finish with a devastating loss to BDS. The school is very proud of their accomplishments throughout the season.
